Online registration for VLDB Conference 2008 is now Closed.

Pre-Conference Workshops

The pre-conference workshops are scheduled to occur on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th August at The University of Auckland's School of Engineering. Workshop fees are inclusive of catering and workshop materials. Registration for pre-conference workshops does not include registration and/or attendance to the main conference or social events.

Main Conference Registration

The main body of the conference will be held at the SkyCity Convention Centre from Monday 25th to Thursday 28th August. Main conference registration is inclusive of all catering and materials, as well as the Welcome Reception and the Conference Dinner.

 

Student Registration

Students are eligible for discounted registration fees to the main conference. Student registration is inclusive of all catering and materials. Student registration is inclusive of all catering and materials, as well as the Welcome Reception and the Conference Dinner. Students may be required to present valid ID.

Welcome Reception

The Welcome Reception is scheduled on Monday 25 August from 5.30pm to 7.00pm at the conference venue after the first full day of the conference. Additional tickets may be purchased at an additional cost.

 

Conference Dinner

The Conference Dinner is scheduled on Wednesday 27 August from 7.00pm to late at the conference venue. Please join us for a great night out with delicious food, drinks and great music! Additional tickets may be purchased at an additional cost.

 
     
  INVITATION LETTERS  
 

Invitation letters to attend the conference may be provided to delegates if they should require one to assist in securing a visa for New Zealand. To obtain an invitation letter, you must first be registered to attend the conference and have paid your registration fees in full. Once your fees are paid please send your request for an invitation letter to the conference organiser.
