Transportation from the Airport
In order to get from Auckland airport (both domestic & international terminals) to central Auckland, you may use a taxi, shuttle service, bus service or car rentals.
There are numerous car rental companies located around the airport's vicinity, with most holding reservation booths at the arrival terminal.
Taxis can be found upon exiting the western part of the arrival area. To book a taxi, you may do so online with the following taxi companies: Co-op Taxi($), Green Cabs($$), Corporate Cabs ($$$), Regency Cabs ($$$). Travel to central Auckland is between 30 to 50 minutes (depending on traffic) and will cost between NZ$50 - NZ$70.
Shuttle service is provided by Super Shuttle and is accessible through door 11 of the arrivals area, and will cost between NZ$25 - NZ$30. You may book a shuttle directly via the Super Shuttle website.
Bus service to central Auckland is provided by Airbus and does not require reservation and will cost NZ$15 one way. Travel time to central Auckland is between 40-50 minutes, and the first bus departs at 5.15am. Upon arrival proceed to the nearest information counter to ask where to find the nearst Airbus stop.
Money Conversion
Upon arrival at Auckland airport, there are a number of bureau-de-changes where you can change your national currency to New Zealand dollars. However, the best exchange rates can be found on Queen Street in the central city.
Parking at the Venue
SkyCity has a large number of parking spaces available within its grounds. Conference delegates are able to avail of a discounted all-day ticket of $16. To obtain this ticket, please visit the Registration Desk to exchange your issued parking ticket with the discounted ticket. Payment must be made at the registration desk. Visa, MasterCard, American Express and cash will be accepted.
Opening of Conference
The main conference is scheduled at start promptly at 8.45am on Monday 25th August in New Zealand Room 1, and will commence with a Mihi Whakatau & Opening Ceremony. The Mihi is a traditional Maori Welcome to all delegates to be performed by Mr. Cyril Talbot, a respected elder from the Auckland Maori tribe of Ngati Whatua.

Remember, If you are arriving in Auckland early in the morning, you can only be guaranteed a room at your hotel if you reserve a room on the evening prior to your arrival.
