| July 17th | Peter Murnane | We began to work our way through New Heaven, New Earth, by Richard G. Cleaver [Rose Hill Books, 1993]. It is a collection of essays on the Catholic Worker programme. Today Peter introduced the book, and we covered the Introduction and the chapter on Economics. |

| August 7th | nobody, really | The intention was to continue our discussion from New Heaven, New Earth, but very few people turned up, so we deferred it. Those who did turn up waffled about a bit, but then got embroiled in a very interesting discussion about the nature of justice, and related topics. We should do this more often ..... |

I think I must have been busy, because I made no record of the meetings, but I know we were so enthusiastic that we went on for a week after the end of lectures, when we usually stop, so that we could finish it. |
