Description	The Society for Computer Applications in Radiology meeting is the oldest series of meetings on radiology computer applications, dating back to the first conference in 1964. In recent years, the scope of the meeting and the attendance have expanded dramatically in parallel with the rapid expansion of computer applications in radiology. The SCAR meeting is the leading educational forum with an emphasis on diagnostic image and information interpretation and management in the 21st century. The meeting includes didactic presentations, round-tables, technical exhibits, and original scientific research presented as papers. The SCAR Annual Meeting attracts radiologists, computer scientists, administrators, and others with interest in medical imaging and appeals to a wide range of attendees from computer scientists involved in basic radiological research to radioogists who are just beginning to consider implementing computer applications in their practice.
