From: "Lyn Lavery" Date: Sun, 29 Apr 2001 15:46:44 +1200 Message-ID: Dear All, Workshops start this week for the new half of semester. Unfortunately, our postgraduate website is still largely unoperational, so workshop details are difficult to access. Our full brochure can still be downloaded from our main site - http://www.auckland.ac.nz/slc/ in both MS Word and PDF format and I have listed this week's workshops below for your information. We are aware that many of you are frustrated by being unable to access our site. Unfortunately, the problem does not lie with us and we are having to reply on University IT staff to rectify the problem (as you can imagine we are just as frustrated by this as you probably are!). We are hopeful that the site will be fully up and running again sometime during the coming week. In the meantime, if there is information you would like from the site that you cannot access, please let me know and I'll be happy to send it to you via email. We are also aware that our recent move into Old Choral Hall has left many of our staff difficult to contact. As of last Friday, the majority of our staff now have their email and telephones back up and running. Unfortunately, our administrative office does not yet have network access, and as such it would be appreciated if you could phone to make bookings for workshops rather than emailing us (ph: 373-7599 ext 8850). We appreciate your patience over these issues, thankfully things seem to be slowly returning to normal! Kind Regards, Lyn ------------------------------------------------------------------ There are still plenty of places in the workshops below. If you would like more information regarding a workshop, please download our full brochure from http://www.auckland.ac.nz/slc/ or contact me (via this email or on ext 2442). Target groups for each workshop are indicated in brackets. TO BOOK FOR THESE WORKSHOPS PLEASE CALL 373-7599 EXT 8550.
