  • The Visualization Toolkit - An Object-Oriented Approach to 3D Graphics, Will Schroeder, Ken Martin and Bill Lorensen, 3rd edition, Kitware Inc.
  • OpenGL Architecture Review Board ( Mason Woo, Jackie Neider, Tom Davis ), OpenGL Programming Guide, Addison-Wesley. ( The 1st Edition may be available on the web, and would be sufficient. )
Description The course teaches computer graphics and image processing algorithms for visualizing complex 3D data sets in engineering, biomedicine and other applications. Topics include the preprocessing of data, modelling and reconstruction, mapping data onto visualization icons, and visual perception. The course involves student projects and lectures.
