Topic: Ethical and legal issues of War Driving The presentation relates to ethical and legal issues (in USA, UK, Canada, NZ, and Australia) that arise from wireless local area network (WLAN) deployment, survey and identification. On account of inadequate deployment and configuration, these easy to establish WLANs are open to attack by hackers and crackers. A range of equipments can be used as clients for identifying open WLANs. This presentation also would discuss suggestions for WarDrivers, common wireless client users, WLAN providers, and the law enforcement agencies. Presenter: Hira Sathu Hira Sathu graduated with the Master of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. He is with the UNITEC since 1993, currently as the Principal Academic Staff Member. He specialises in the data communication issues, both in teaching and research.
