I have a BTech (Hons) in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India, and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.
I worked in the Department of Computer Science, University of Edinburgh, Scotland, and at the now-defunct Advanced Computer Research Institute in Lyon, France, before coming to New Zealand.
I am involved in the following courses:
In addition, I am the coordinator for the BTech programme in Information Technology and the Computer Science Diploma programme for 2015.
My research interests include Performance modelling and simulation of parallel systems, High-performance computer architectures, Mobile and Internet architecture and applications, Steganography, and Parallel and distributed computing.
