The LIFE: God's Vision, Our Mission "For me to live is Christ" - Philippians 1:21
Is your Christian life flat or slowly leaking away?......
Is life about passing exams, meeting that special someone, or watching the latest movie? Is the purpose of life to become a middle class professional with a spouse, two kids, one house or flat, two cars and enough money to afford your kids an overseas education? A prominent commercial encourages us to "Live life to the Max". God's vision for your life is distinct from the materialistic vision presented through the media. The LIFE Conference offers you a life changing experience that presents Jesus (instead of some carbonated, artificially flavoured beverage that only temporarily quenches thirst) as the real essence of Life. So now, you can really live life to the Max! Paul said "For me to live is Christ". He lived life to the Max for Jesus Christ two thousand years ago. Come and discover how Christ can help you do the same today at The LIFE Conference.
"If only we could gain a fresh and compelling vision of Jesus
Christ, incarnated and exalted, risen and reigning, bestowing the Spirit and coming again! Then we would have the clarity of purpose and strength of motive, the courage, the authority, the power and passion for world evangelisation in our time."
- John Scott, The Contemporary Christion, 1992
What is it?
Conference is a unique opportunity for students from all tertiary campuses in New Zealand to come together for a week of preaching, teaching, fun and fellowship. We will hear
God through inspiring speakers, lively debate, praise and worship. It is your chance to meet and make friends from all over the world.

International Students from across New Zealand
There will be over 140 other overseas students at The LIFE Conference, drawn from Overseas Christian Fellowships (OCFs) across the nation. OCF is a multi-national, interdenominational student body that exists to reach and build up oversea Christian students, prepare them for return to home ministries or for other mision fields. OCF also provides a support network to ease homesickness! There are OCF groups on the seven university campuses in New Zealand. OCF is directly affiliated to the Tertiary Students Christian Fellowship (TSCF) which provides training resources and encouragement to OCF groups.
Aims of OCF
To unite all overseas Christian students through prayer, Bible study and fellowship.
To encourage the growth of a full and balanced Christian life in its members.
To present the Christian Gospel and to bear witness to the Lord Jesus Christ, especially among overseas students.
To encourage overseas Christian students to share in the responsibility of proclaiming the Gospel in their homelands.
